20′ × 13′ Four-Season Sunroom Addition in Parsippany, NJ

Vision Art Aluminium designed, fabricated, and installed this custom 20-foot by 13-foot four-season sunroom addition in Parsippany, New Jersey, transforming an existing outdoor area into a bright, comfortable, and functional living space for year-round enjoyment.

Completed in 2021, this project is one of our earlier custom sunroom installations and continues to demonstrate the durability, timeless appearance, and architectural quality of our aluminum and glass systems.

The homeowners wanted to expand their usable living space while preserving a strong visual connection to the backyard. Our team created a modern glass enclosure featuring expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing, slim-profile black aluminum framing, and clear panoramic views of the surrounding garden.

A full-size 13-foot aluminum sliding glass door system was installed along the deck-facing side of the sunroom. The wide opening creates a smooth transition between the enclosed living space and the outdoor deck, making the room ideal for everyday relaxation, family gatherings, and entertaining guests.

For natural ventilation, we incorporated a tilt-and-turn window directly into the glazed wall. This European-style window provides flexible airflow while maintaining the clean, uninterrupted appearance of the surrounding glass panels.

The sunroom roof was constructed with triple-glazed, tempered, laminated Low-E safety glass. This high-performance glass roof allows natural daylight to enter from above while helping improve insulation, indoor comfort, safety, and protection against changing New Jersey weather conditions.

The side walls feature double-glazed tempered Low-E insulated glass, helping reduce heat transfer and maintain a more comfortable interior temperature throughout the year. The complete structural system was manufactured from durable powder-coated aluminum, providing excellent weather resistance, low maintenance, and a refined modern finish.

The black aluminum framing creates an elegant contrast against the existing home while allowing the sunroom to blend naturally with the surrounding landscape. Slim sightlines maximize the visible glass area, bringing abundant daylight into the room and creating an open, spacious atmosphere.

From the initial design and custom fabrication to delivery and professional installation, the complete project was successfully finished in approximately eight weeks.

The finished result is a cozy and light-filled home addition that provides the homeowners with valuable extra living space, panoramic backyard views, convenient ventilation, and dependable four-season comfort.
