East Brunswick, NJ – Four Season Enhanced Sunroom

A sunroom is one of the best ways to expand living space and create outdoor fun for family. Our high quality sunroom can be use all year around because we use a thermal aluminum frame and double glazed tempered and E-Low energy efficient glass.

Vision Art Aluminium proudly completed this custom 20′ × 16′ four-season sunroom in East Brunswick, New Jersey, creating a beautiful living space designed for year-round comfort and everyday living.

The homeowners wanted more than a traditional sunroom. Their vision was to create a bright home office where they could work during the day while also adding a spacious family gathering room for relaxing and entertaining. Our goal was to design a space that feels like a natural extension of the home rather than an enclosed patio.

As the designer, I focused on two priorities from the very beginning: outstanding insulation and creating a panoramic, open feeling. We wanted the homeowners to enjoy outdoor views without feeling enclosed by walls or excessive framing. Every design decision was made to maximize natural daylight while maintaining exceptional energy efficiency.

To achieve superior thermal performance, we used triple-pane tempered Low-E safety glass for the roof, allowing abundant daylight to enter while helping reduce heat transfer throughout every season. The surrounding walls feature double-pane tempered Low-E insulated glass, providing excellent insulation, comfort, and year-round performance in New Jersey’s changing climate.

Because every custom sunroom must be both beautiful and structurally sound, Vision Art Aluminium worked closely with a licensed structural engineer throughout the project. We provided sealed and signed engineering drawings, ensuring the entire structure met applicable building codes and structural safety requirements.

One of the standout features of this project is the custom glazing system. The front elevation features a 20-foot thermally broken panoramic sliding door equipped with premium German-engineered hardware. The system creates an impressive 10-foot clear opening, allowing the homeowners to seamlessly connect the sunroom with the outdoor living area while enjoying effortless operation.

On both sides of the sunroom, we installed 16-foot two-panel panoramic sliding doors. By using only two oversized glass panels on each side, we minimized visible aluminum framing and maximized uninterrupted views of the backyard. Despite their impressive size, the premium German hardware allows the doors to glide smoothly with minimal effort.
